Well, we all know how this past year went.
Zoom classes with several outstanding artists kept me sane and working with my paints: Gary Tucker, Tim Wilmot and a delightful workshop in Boca de Tomatlan with Andy Evansen,
I will share new paintings below..
However, the exciting news from San Miguel and the gallery is that we have joined with the International Watercolor Society and are now a world branch International Watercolor Society San Miguel de Allende,Mexico. With this collaboration, we share competitions and workshops from around the world.
We now feature a guest artist of the month from the IWS membership. This month it is Ruben Vega.. We have over 50 members offering them 10% discounts on sales and workshops. To join , simply write to me iwssma2022@gmail.com
We also have created a Plein Air group that meets monthly, encouraging shared ideas and communication. Last onth we went to Rancho Organica and then had a wonderful lunch..
Next Plein Air is August 6th 9:30 Bellas Artes….
The highllight of this collaboration is the creation of the premier International Plein Air Festival in San Miguel November 10-13. We have 30 artists from around the world coming to our lovely pueblita to paint and exhibit and attend nighly events and win prizes. The reception and enthusiasm is wonderful.

Through this collaboration I have been abe to exhibit in Mexico city, Kosovo, Turkey among other places. I am presently entering 2 more competitions in Mexico City.
I have a new class August 18,22,23…..it will be good to get back in the studio.
