I did take a break to fly to Charlotte NC for a great workshop with Iain Stewart. I hope to get him to San Miguel for another workshop. Excellent teacher.
Last week we went to La Huertas and found Soria II. It was a cluster of small capillas near the river. I did the painting twice. I do that more often than not….just to get the right feel.
While painting a young man joined us and I shared my paints with him. I asked him to proudly display his work. Times and intimate events like this make the plein aire experience all the more memorable.
